Bus Driver Authority Licence (BDA)
If you wish to acquire a Bus Driver Authority Licence (BDA), we can run the necessary course. In order to be legible for this written test required for the licence, you must:
- Be at least 20 years of age
- Have passed a medical examination or assessment to the standard set by the relevant authority
- Have held an unrestricted Australian driver’s licence for at least twelve (12) months in the two (2) years immediately preceding the date of the test application
- Have completed a police check, in which driving history has been reviewed
- Have demonstrated you can write & communicate in English
If these prerequisites have been met, you should be able to proceed with the required test. Our Central Coast bus driving instructors can provide the necessary one-on-one training and conduct the assessment within the designated classroom. Upon successful completion, you will receive a proficiency certificate.
